A Bit About Me
I am a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Accounting from the University of Kentucky.
I received my Master's degree in Professional Accounting from Charles Sturt University in Melbourne, Australia, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Tirana, Albania.
My research interests are in auditing and financial accounting using archival methods and data analytics. Specifically, I am interested in examining the role of intermediaries and disclosure in emerging financial markets such as equity crowdfunding, data analytics diffusion, and their role in auditing. My research is accepted for publication in The Accounting Review, featured in Forbes and
cited by The Securities Exchange Commission.
Before starting my Ph.D., I had positions in academia as an adjunct professor at the Alexander Moisiu University, Durres, Albania. I have taught Financial Accounting, Cost & Managerial Accounting, and Data Analytics & AIS. I have also experience as a tax accountant, financial accountant, and internal auditor in private companies.
